Vroom Vroom! Renee goes to South Haven

Hello! Renee here. Kit is busy with her new job of modeling new cute outfits created by Geiser-Weaver Associates, LLC, so she said I could also do a guest post! 

For those that don't know me, I am a demo model for Geiser-Weaver Associates, LLC- I test out all the newest outfits, to make sure they work for other dolls. Recently though, I got a chance to ride in a Mustang!

We drove to the southwest side of Michigan to the beach town of South Haven.

Lake Michigan was still more than 1/2 frozen in March. It was such a contrast between winter and spring. It was still cold and windy (see my crazy hair blowing?).

It was windy!

The view from the lighthouse was still a winter wonderland.

We ended the evening with going out to eat, so I got all dressed up in my upcycled dress Geiser-Weaver Associates made me.

All the outfits I wore on the trip were part of Geiser-Weaver Associates, LLC's upcycle clothing line, created from baby and infant clothing from area thrift shops. All upcycled outfits sell for $5.00 or under each. They are truly one of a kind, no two are identical. You can find some of the upcycled outfits on their Etsy store. They are sold in pairs (two dresses or one dress and one nightgown, etc. - from $8.00 a set - to $12.00 a set). I just love things that are upcycled- don't you?

Bree is ready for Easter with her new dress

Hi, this is Bree, one of Kit's friends from Michigan. Kit is busy being photographed in new cute outfits created by Geiser-Weaver Associates, LLC, so she said I could do a guest post! 

I got a chance to try on my new Easter dress today. Finally the weather is starting to feel like spring. It is so beautiful out, but I hear they are expecting snow-showers on Easter - NOOOO!

I can't wait to wear my new Easter dress to the Egg Hunt this weekend. Do you have a new dress for Easter too?

Kit's next outfit:Spider Girl-type superhero outfit

Hello again!
It's been another fun week of modeling. I'm having so much fun trying on and modeling the outfits created by Geiser-Weaver Associates, LLC. The next outfit I am showing off is a Spider Girl-style costume.

This costume is just too fun! Makes me wish I had the ability to sling webs.

Geiser-Weaver really loves sparkles- and I do too! 

This mask is also part of the outfit.

  

Sparkly boots come with it too!

 I love the spider on the front.

Kit's first week of modeling: Captain America-type superhero outfit

Hello world!
This week has been a whirlwind of a week. I've had a blast being photographed and modeling the clothing designs created by Geiser-Weaver Associates, LLC. The first outfit I got to show off is one of Geiser-Weaver's specialties- a Superhero costume.

This Superhero costume is a Captain America type outfit for an 18 inch doll (same as me!).

Geiser-Weaver even makes the silver sparkle mask!

The outfit also includes these wristbands and thick belt.

I love these wrist bands and all their sparkle-goodness.

These boots also come with the outfit.

I had a blast modeling this fun costume, and they even let me fly for one photo!

Kit's Traveling Adventure Continues by Train

Hello again!
I didn't realize how fun this train ride would be. Traveling by train is pretty neat!

Breakfast is served! I just love donuts, don't you?

The sleeper cars are comfortable and come with all your meals included. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the meals were. Who knew train food would be so good?

Lunch was fantastic! Strawberry milkshake, hamburger, fries and a cupcake.

The scenery across Pennsylvania and Maryland was pretty awesome. Look how pretty the winter landscape is:

The river is gorgeous!

Fun stores and cabins in the snow too.

Luckily I have my trusty music to keep me busy on this long train ride. I hope mom won't mind if I start dancing to the music in my seat.

I decided to try out my new glasses while on the train. Do you think yellow is my color?

I am almost to my new modeling job. I wonder what I will be modeling first and if the photographer is friendly? I'm a little apprehensive, but at least mom is here for a few days until I get settled in.

Starting on an adventure: Kit begins her travels

Hello! This is Kit and I am going on an adventure.

I'm ready to go traveling!

I am leaving my doll home and leaving behind my 40+ doll friends in Michigan to go to a new modeling job in Pennsylvania. I am sad to leave my friends behind, but excited to see my two old friends in Pennsylvania - Samantha and Tiffany. I am also super excited to start my new modeling career. I am going to live and be photographed for a few months there before returning home.
My journey from Michigan to Pennsylvania is a long one, including traveling by train!

The first part of my traveling journey began with a bus ride to Toledo, Ohio - this was o.k. but I was looking forward to the train.

It was cold on the bus, so my mom kept me bundled up!

We got on the train quite late at night in Toledo. Luckily we got a sleeper car!

Don't mind my static-bedhead-hair. It was quite late at night.

I am so tired, I am ready to fall sleep. *Yawn*
